 The Los Angeles Kings acquired LW Fredrik Modin from Columbus for future considerations.

Analysis: Modin has never got going this season after hurting his knee during the preseason . He's had 4 season's of 20 goals or more in his NHL career but has not reached double figures each of the last 2 seasons. This year in 24 games he's posted only 2 goals and 4 assists. In fantasy he's no more than a "watch guy" at this point. The Kings have a young dynamic team so pay attention to see what role he gets over the season's last month. He could be a waiver pickup if one of your players gets hurt and you don't have many choices.
